MAKING CONTACT
October 8-10, 2010

Best-selling author and internationally acclaimed horseman Chris Irwin, will present a weekend symposium covering his work with horses on the ground and in the saddle. Understanding what your horse has to say will change the way you ride and the way your horse responds, and in the process a deeper understanding of self and others will emerge. Participation in small group lessons will be available either with your own horse or a WaterStone horse.

Part 2
RUPERT ISAACSON:
THE HORSE BOY
March 4-6, 2011

Author and filmmaker Rupert Isaacson will present his findings on equine assisted facilitation with children on the autism spectrum. The weekend will include a screening of his movie, The Horse Boy, and therapeutic activities offered at international Horse Boy Camps will be demonstrated, presenting new ways to connect with special needs children.

Best-selling author and international presenter Linda Kohanov and equine artist Kim McElroy will collaborate on a weekend that will provide experiences in which participants can enter the world of the horse in presentations and activities that delve into depth psychology and the spiritual realm of the horse human connection.

Chris Irwin Training

Throughout the summer of 2010, double gold Chris Irwin trainer, Anne Gage, will be available for small group lessons at WaterStone on Wednesdays at 5:30PM. Lessons must be pre-booked and horses can be trailered in ($45 per lesson) or a WaterStone horse can be made available ($55 per lesson). Participants can choose to work with horses either on the ground or in the saddle. WaterStone and Anne Gage reserve the right to restrict the participation of horses that could endanger other riders.
